What Initiative Were Taken? : Use of Digital Technology, Appointment of Clinical psychologists, , Senior Citizens Special Helpline

Details : NMMC has come up with a unique concept to ascertain the health of citizens. An automated response team has been aligned with a dedicated helpline number 022- 35155012. Through this, system will generate automated calls to all citizens (approx. 1 lakh citizens in 1 hour) and collect 7 predefined questions set related to their health by simply pressing 1 for Yes and 2 for No. With this data, NMMC at the back office, shall designate doctors for video calling as per the categories of risk (Low, Moderate and High). NMMC has also appointed clinical psychologists for providing free of cost consultation and address citizens’ concerns and manage anxiety.

Outcome : The initiatives are aimed at providing guidance and assistance to the citizens to be safe and lead normal lives during the unprecedented conditions created by COVID-19.
