What Initiative Were Taken? : Online movement passes for essential services and distribution of food

Details : MCYNR was one of the first corporations in the state to start online services for issuing movement passes. All community/public parks, community centers etc. were closed for entry. After careful consideration of requirements of 5 RWAs for movement passes of staff handling essential services in colony/ sector, it was decided to issue 5 passes to each RWA with an exemption given to sanitation workers. Further 7 RWAs, NGOs and Red Cross society are working in close collaboration with MCYNR and providing food packets

Outcome : Passes are essential for implementing social distancing and restricting the movement of people out of their homes. Food distribution also helps take care of the needy and the underprivileged during such times of crisis.
