What Initiative Were Taken? : Health check-ups/ health facilities for sanitation workers

Details : All the workers are being regularly checked-up for COVID 19 free of cost at PGIMER, Chandigarh even if there is a mild symptom. No case to date has been reported for any sick fall of any sanitary worker as all the necessary precautions are being taken and they have been provided with PPE kits. They have been also provided with hand-wash and sanitizers.

Outcome : This initiative has been undertaken to cater to the health of sanitation workers, garbage collectors and all other frontline workers.
