What Initiative Were Taken? : Cleanliness/Sanitization of public places

Details : Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is performing sanitization of all public places/buildings by spraying of sodium hydrochloride 10% & herbal surface spray. High-touch areas at all public places and buildings are being regularly cleaned and disinfected. Major hotspot areas covered under two sanitization shifts (day and night shifts) and special teams are being deputed for the same.

Outcome : The purpose of this initiative is to ensure all public areas are regularly sanitized. This would further lead to a decrease in possibility of the spread of COVID-19. COVID-19 is a disease that spreads through contact with contaminated surfaces.
