What Initiative Were Taken? : Using Technology for improve contribution by Street Vendors, Dhar

Details : Dhar ULB of Madhya Pradesh launched a mobile application to deliver essential items such as fruits and vegetables at the doorsteps during the nationwide lockdown enforced to contain the spread of the COVID19. This app allows users to place orders seamlessly. The ULB had assigned nearly 100 identified Street Vendors to provide essential items. Presently, it is servicing 30 wards by using 14 vehicles.

Outcome : Mobile App developed to provide hassle free doorstep services to the citizens during the lockdown due to COVID19
